Oracle Applications Database Administrator (Multiple Openings)
Reston, VA

Responsibilities

Responsible for the following duties: New client managed server orientation; Database and Oracle EBusiness Suite issue investigation/resolution; Client Managed Service Program Management; Client Service Oversight and Management; Oracle EBusiness Suite Software and Database Implementation, Upgrade, Migration and Patching; and Advanced Oracle EBusiness Suite Software and Database Administration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or other computer-related field or foreign equivalent plus five years experience in job offered, Oracle Database Administration, Oracle E-Business Suite Administration, or other closely related occupation OR Master’s degree plus 3 years of experience in job offered.
  
  
• Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience.

Special Requirements

3+ years Oracle DBA experience with Release 10g or later including installation, upgrade, cloning, patching, and trouble resolution. 3+ years Oracle E-Business Suite DBA experience with Release 11.5.8 or later including installation, upgrade, cloning, patching, and trouble resolution. 2+ years Oracle Systems Project Management including task planning, execution management, status reporting, and risk mitigation.
